Find your footing in Sevens

Take a moment to check the current turn. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens. Start a new round when you are ready to try again. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each. Try the rule on the board, then read the next instruction.

Four-player free Sevens with three local computer opponents. This table uses the seven-of-diamonds opening and low Aces.

Something to practise

Check the rule below as you play. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end. Keep the goal in mind before your next move.

The goal to keep in mind

Take a moment to check the current turn. Play every card to four suit sequences that expand outward from their sevens.

Start here and follow along

  1. A standard deck is dealt to four players, thirteen cards each.
  2. The holder of 7♦ must play it first. Other suits can open with their own seven.
  3. Extend the low end or high end of an open suit by one rank. Aces are low below twos; kings are the high end.
  4. Play a legal card whenever possible. Passing is allowed only when no card fits.
  5. The first player with an empty hand wins the round.

The controls to know

Tap an enabled card from your hand. The suit rows show cards already played. Use Pass only when it is enabled. The game area remains available above the explanation.

An example before you play

The board gives you the information needed for the next action. After 7♥ is opened, 6♥ or 8♥ can be played. 5♥ must wait until 6♥ is on the table. Start a new round when you are ready to try again.

A common point of confusion

Read the position before choosing your next action. A matching rank in another suit does not extend an existing row. Every suit has its own sequence. The game area remains available above the explanation.
